The South Zone Community Gardens Association (SZCGA) operates 384 community gardens on
property leased from the University of Regina. The gardens are located at 3305 Grant Road.
The SZCGA operates under the auspices of The South Zone Recreation Board, which is affiliated
with the City of Regina

Goal

South Zone Community Gardens shares the South Zone Recreation Board’s goal to improve the quality of residents’ lives.

Mission

We commit to administer, organize and foster a community of gardeners working together to develop healthy horticultural practices for a sustainable future.

Organization

South Zone Community Gardens is administered by an elected board.  The Board has full authority to manage the gardens in accordance with the Garden Use Agreement and Constitution.

Membership

Membership in this association is with registration and with payment of annual gardening fees to South Zone Community Gardens. All members are encouraged to attend the Annual General Meeting, and to become involved. A member is entitled to one vote at the Annual General Meeting.

 

Communication

– Keep informed by visiting our website regularly. 
– E-mails will also be used to keep gardeners current with pertinent
information.

continue to receive pertinent information.

All gardeners are responsible for reading the 2021 Guidelines and Policies before registering.
